Your close associations, your inner circle of friends are crucial. Often, we start associating with people for the wrong reasons - the outside appearance instead of their integrity and character. As a result of having close relationships with ungodly people, they will start changing you. Remember, we are to be a thermostat and not a thermometer – you need to be changing them and not them changing you. God's Word says in order to be wise, you need to have close friends who are wise.
