Get Out Of The Boat

As a follower of Jesus Christ, we are commanded to get rid of our old way of living. How we treat people, unforgiveness, how we speak - life and death are in the power of the tongue. How we prioritize our time (kids in sports and school), monies, time etc. When it comes to certain areas of our lives, even though we are christians, we live like we did before, afraid to change jobs because of money or afraid to forgive - that is called not getting out of the boat because of fear or pride. Jesus said regardless of how you feel, not matter how bad the storm is, you can walk on top of it, walk on water. Don't stay in the boat which is your old self. Jesus is telling you to come out from that old self and He will do a new "thing" in your life.
