Tonight (08/24/16) in week 9 of the series “The Righteousness Of God”. God loves us so much that He tells us what and who to stay away from - it’s for our protection. Our natural man or old way of thinking may not like it, agree with it but our thoughts are not Gods thoughts or our ways are not His. His way is the only way if want to be apart of the Kingdom Of God. His Word also tells us what “we” are to be like, imitators of Christ so we can pull others up out of their old way of living by living a Godly life. We are called to be thermostats and not thermometers. We are supposed to go into work, home, hobbies and be a godly example and not be like the ones we are coming around. Tonight (08/17/16) in week 8 of the series “The Righteousness Of God”. God said we are to be planted or work in all areas of life. From the automotive industry, government jobs, sports, medical field etc. If you are righteous, just like the Prophet Daniel was, God will promote you. Daniel did not work for a church, he did not work for a christian boss or a christian organization yet he was promoted. Daniel was captured and brought to Babylon and because he was found dependable, trustworthy and had an excellent spirit about him, the king wanted to place him over the entire kingdom. The king ordered the entire kingdom to worship the God of Daniel. Where ever God sends you, He will promote you if you can be trusted with the little things He will give you greater things. Tonight (08/10/16) in week 7 of the series “The Righteousness Of God”. Understanding our roles in the kingdom of God as priests and kings during these “End Of Days” is vital. The priests/pastors or watchmen need to sound the alarms to the current events that were prophesied would take place prior to Christ return so the kings know what to look for. From getting rid of sin, and friends that pull you down into sin - the pastor needs to be bold and unafraid of speaking Gods Word. That Word is for protection for the kings - the ones who go out and make disciples/kings. God said that habitual sin will not enter the kingdom and that sin needs to be revealed in Gods Word.. Tonight (08/03/16) in week 6 of the series “The Righteousness Of God”. In order to do what is right or righteous, God commanded us to get rid of our friends/close associations who call themselves “christians” that are not living habitually according to Gods Word. In order to do what is right, we need the right influence(s). Those friends can manipulate you and cause you to feel inferior because you won't sink or stay at their level of unbelief - God said get rid of them - God said, don’t even eat with them! God loves you and cares so much for you and the plans that He has for you that He doesn’t want anything or anyone to stop you from your destiny. Remember, you’re not just associating, you are becoming - you are becoming like them or they are becoming like you. So if they haven’t changed then you must have changed. Tonight (07/27/16) in week 5 of the series “The Righteousness Of God”. As a born again, new creation in Christ Jesus we have a new nature, the nature of God. We now have to align our conduct with this new nature and that comes through the knowledge of Gods Word and then living by faith. It will be difficult at times because your mind has been programmed for the most part by what people say you “can” and “can not” do. But Jesus says, you can do “all things” or “any thing” that the Word says you can do and even greater. So we need to reprogram ourselves back up to where we are supposed to be. You have a purpose and that purpose isn’t to sit down and be worrying about what everyone else is saying and thinking. That purpose is to get going and being about your fathers’ business. You and I who are imitators of Jesus Christ are also joint heirs with Him. You and I have the same privileges and the same expectations which is to be obedient to Gods Word. In order to take hold of this aristocratic mindset we need training for reigning with Him now and not just when we get to heaven. God wants us to walk and talk like Royalty today. Speak His Word over every situation in your life, be obedient to His Word and you will see the results of the Promises in His Word. God wants us to open up our supernatural eyes (that comes from knowledge of His Word) and see that there are kingdom forces at work to protect and to prosper you in all situations. The knowledge of Gods Word and doing it what it says is the key to being righteous. When we do what is right according to Gods Word it gives us faith and that is the opposite of fear. Fear is not there to compliment your life, fear is there to paralyze your life and give strength to the enemy who’s coming against your life. Satan needs fear like God needs faith.
